Many thanks for your email.
I am glad to hear that SEEDIG is back on track and that the organization of a new event in Zagreb is in the advanced stages of preparations. I am also happy to learn that you are leading the initiative.
I wish you successful preparations and a fruitful event. I will distribute this information to colleagues and friends of IGF MKD.

Dear SEEDIG Community,
It’s been a long time that this mailing list remained silent. After a year-long pause due to the challenging times for me personally and for the region caused by Russia's war against Ukraine, we are thrilled to announce that SEEDIG is back! We have missed our vibrant community and the enriching discussions that make SEEDIG's annual meetings so special.
Mark your calendars, because SEEDIG's 8th Annual Meeting is set to take place on 6-7 November 2023, and we couldn't be more excited to invite you to join us in the picturesque city of Zagreb, Croatia. Known for its blend of historical charm and innovative dynamics, Zagreb offers the perfect backdrop for fostering meaningful conversations and collaborations.
Our meeting will be held at the elegant WESPA Business & Lounge, a contemporary venue that resonates with a modern vibe. With state-of-the-art facilities and a conducive environment for networking, WESPA Business & Lounge is the ideal setting for us to reconnect, and plan for the future growth.
And speaking of growth, we want to shape this year's conversations around innovation, which our region is so rich of, but which we rarely promote in proper way. As we emerge from a period of challenges, it's time to embrace fresh ideas, new perspectives, and dynamic solutions. This is where you come in!
We invite all members of our community to actively participate in designing the meeting agenda by submitting session proposals under three engaging formats: keynote speeches, panels, and workshops. We encourage you to think beyond the ordinary and propose sessions that are dynamic, thought-provoking, and unconventional. This is your chance to share insights from the digital and internet governance fields, challenge norms and policies, and inspire change.
When submitting proposals, remember that we're looking for sessions with speakers who are not your “usual suspects”. Imagine sessions that you, yourself, would be excited to attend – innovative, informative, and irresistibly engaging. Do you have knowledge to share about a remarkable data center in your country? Or perhaps insights about a cutting-edge e-services platform, an award-winning digital solution, successful digital rights advocacy campaign, efficient public-private partnership in the digital field, or any other digital marvel that's making waves? These are the stories we want to hear – stories that others would be hungry to learn from and replicate across the region.
Ready to be a part of SEEDIG 8?
1. Register for the event by filling the application form here by 15 October.
2. Submit your session proposal to execom at seedig.net by 15 September, simply indicating the topic and speakers, and choosing one of three session formats – keynote speech, panel, workshop.
We can't wait to reunite with all of you and create new SEEDIG memories.
With anticipation and warm regards,
Olga
(on behalf of SEEDIG ExCom)
