Dear SEEDIG community, I wish all of you a happy new year!

EuroDIG is now kicking off the programme building for EuroDIG 2023 (June
19-21 in Tampere, Finland) and we would like to invite you! 

In the light to Europe facing a war that concerns all of us the overarching
theme this year is "Internet in troubled times: risk, resilience, hope" 
This is opening the space to so many current questions on digital governance
and cooperation that apply across the European continent. 

In times of crises, the heads of state in Europe have now also introduced a
non-binding format for informal exchange with the XXL Europe Summit

her-against-putin/> . 
".An XXL Europe summit, with no agenda and no pressure to come to an
agreement. Instead, many meetings in large and small groups. All
non-binding, but still. ."

Funnily enough, this format pretty much describes what EuroDIG and other
regional forums have been living for more than a decade. It describes how
important it is sometimes to "just have a discussion" .

The call for issues

for the next topics to be discussed in Europe finished on 31 December 2022
but we are still open to receive input for the 2023 agenda. The next
opportunity is our yearly public planning meeting,  where the EuroDIG
community will discuss the proposed programme structure, identify missing
topics, and share ideas on how to make the outcomes as impactful as
possible.
