[seedig] Shaping the Main Topics, comment on draft programme & last days for GDC consultation

Dear SEEDIG community, I am forwarding the latest EuroDIG newsletter because we are now in the crucial stage to involve all stakeholders.

The initial Zoom meetings for the Main Topics will take place end of next week and you are very much invited to join those and bring in the SEE perspective. 

As I said already, this years topic are very much of concern for the pan European region and only an inclusive debate will address the topics in an appropriate manner.

Shape EuroDIG’s 2023 Main Topics

During the Public Planning Meeting earlier this month, the suggestion was taken up to make a slight change to the workflow of Org Teams, who are shaping the sessions at EuroDIG. Org Teams remain open to everyone, but will start by exchanging on the Main Topic before forming smaller groups for specific sessions to increase cohesion and foster exchange.

The three Main Topics and corresponding meeting dates are:

Impact of the war: 2nd March, 14:00-15:30 CET

Digital platforms: 2nd March, 15:30-17:00 CET

Internet fragmentation: 3rd March, 14:30-16:00 CET

We welcome feedback and comments on the draft programme until Sunday, February 26, which will also inform the work of the Org Teams kicking off the Main Topics shortly after.
