Dear Narine,
I feel your disappointment. Although I do not understand why you throw a
dice here when *A**lea iacta est, *but allow me to assure you that there
will be plenty of room for involvement in any process SEEDIG has, as
always. You are a valuable member and your social media presence and
sharing information, which I follow, find tremendously appreciated and
useful.
Please have in mind that here in SEEDIG we cherish values and persons, not
countries. Voting for a country would be understood as a very much
political bias/taking sides. The only thing when a "country" can play a
role is as a second criteria, to provide diversity and inclusion from the
region. We may use that criteria in the agenda too, for an example to
embrace all countries' views on different topics. But definitely not as a
main criteria for selection of people.
And one more thing: people change, situation changes, we have learned
during the last year that nothing is forever, so we need just to keep on
going and working. ExeCom has clear mandates, it is not everlasting.
May we all keep our integrity by constantly working between values and
actions.
wholeheartedly,
Liljana
