Thanks Gergana for lowering the pressure to be perfect :) and thanks to everyone (especially Sorina and Lianna) who is sticking around closely, so we can share the successes and challenges jointly.

I'll keep it short here - I am not worried about the results and outcomes, it shall be as we agree to it. I think we all must strive to keep the entire development process full of integrity, as so far, and have the consistency between the values and actions taken.

But enough words. When is the next ExeCom Meeting?

Thank you to Katarina, Ioana and Haris for volunteering to guide us
through this year's election process. As an observer I've seen first
hand that this is not an easy nor a straighforward job and I appreciate
very much your efforts!

I want to join all the people here on the mailing list in extending my
gratitude to Sorina and Lianna for their work with SEEDIG, which started
long before their terms in the Executive Committee and I'm sure will not
end with their departure. Under your leadership SEEDIG has turned into a
vibrant community as evidenced by a strong annual event as well as
successful intersessional activities.

Congratulations to Liljana and Bogdan for their positions! I was very
excited reading your candidate statements and I believe SEEDIG is in
good hands. You are joining the the committee during unusual times,
however I'm sure that you, together with the remaining members, will

My hope is that you don't try to get it perfect. Perfect is the enemy of
good. Compromising so that we are united looking outside gives us
strength - this applies both to the Executive Committee, but also the
SEEDIG community as a whole. I'm confident that you would be able to
lead us in the right direction and I look forward to seeing your work.
