Dear SEEDIG Community,
It is less than one week left before we go live for the second event within the SEEDIG 7 Series framework - “SEE Sustainable Future: Twinning Green and Digital”. Make sure to mark your calendars for 6 September 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST and join us for a keynote fireside chat with Ilias Iakovidis, PhD, Adviser at European Commission, DG CONNECT and Frederic Donck, President at DigitalGoes.green.
Among other things, we will discuss:
Why and when green should meet digital? What does it take to build a sustainable digital future? How can the SEE region avoid lagging behind? Is digitalisation a solution to reach EU Green Deal goals or mostly pollution? Are we calculating the impact of the ICT sector correctly? How do we know when digitalisation has a net positive effect on the environment and climate? Do we know the direct footprint and the carbon reduction of specific digital solutions applied in transport, energy, agriculture, construction, smart cities, manufacturing etc.? How can the potential of digitalisation be realised through climate action recovery funds? For more information visit a dedicated webpage.
Register now to secure your place in our fireside Zoom: https://form.typeform.com/to/kvWsETbc
Login information will be shared only with registered participants.
We also created a dedicated Facebook event. Join it and be the first to receive the most recent updates.
Sincerely,
Olga
(on behalf of Programme Committee)
