We've received a call for mentors and participants from the organisers of the Youth Summit (hybrid format) that will take place in Poland, Katowice in the same week as IGF 2021. Please, check the details below and apply if you are interested.

Dear all, 
I am sharing with you that the Youth Observatory (also known as Youth SIG, the Youth Special Interest Group of Internet Society) and the Youth Coalition on Internet Governance are collaborating with Youth IGF Poland on the Youth Summit. The Youth Summit will be an international gathering of young people from diverse stakeholder groups around the world.

This event will have a preparatory phase with Working Groups based on the thematic issues areas of the IGF (being one of them digital cooperation) where young people around the world will prepare policy papers together with the Working Groups Coordinators. The policy recommendations will be discussed with the young attendees of the Youth Summit (hybrid format) at Poland, Katowice in the same week of the IGF2021.

You can support the project Youth Summit in several ways:
-Share on your social media channels about the project, also with young colleagues you know that would like to join the Working Groups. People can register on the website before August 20th.

-Volunteer to be a mentor at one of the Working Groups. We are looking for mentors with demonstrable long experience on thematic issues, that can be a support to the Working Groups members.

-Support as a partner or sponsor of the Project. Our main goal is providing financial support for the participants to travel to the Youth Summit and participate onsite.
