[seedig] SEEDIG 6 updates

Dear SEEDIG community, 

First, we hope you and your families are all fine and coping well with
these challenging times caused by Covid-19. 

While we know that there are many other issues taking priority now, we
would like to give you a short update about SEEDIG 6. At the moment, we
continue the planning process as envisioned and aim to have the in situ
meeting in Chisinau in September. Together with our hosts and local
partners in Moldova, we continue to monitor the local and regional
situation and will be considering contingency plans. And, of course, we
will keep you updated about any changes. 

For the time being, the Programme Committee continues its work and will
soon publish a draft programme for public comment. We will also launch
the call for applications for the Youth School in early April,
especially considering that most of this programme happens online. The
call for applications for the Internship Programme will also follow
soon. 

Meanwhile, we encourage you to use the mailing list to share information
about how you and your initiatives/projects are adapting to the current
situation, including from a technological point of view. If you are
publishing relevant articles or are involved in initiatives launched to
help tackle ongoing challenges, it would be great to hear from you.
