Dear Community,

The SEEDIG intersessional project on COVID-19 tracking apps in SEE+ kicked-off today with an introductory meeting. We talked about the benefits and challenges of tracking apps, looked at specific examples in Armenia, North Macedonia and Ukraine, and got insights into why Greece chose not to use such tools. Now it is on the working group to start putting together a set of draft recommendations for the region, which will be shared with you for a public comment at the end of July.

We thank everyone who attended the meeting, and encourage you to keep an eye on the upcoming work by periodically checking project’s webpage.

We also welcome any ideas and suggestions on the subject issue, which you can share with the WG by sending an email to intersessional at seedig.net.
