Dear Narine,

I also wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous new year! 🎉

We received a total of 26 applications to the call for volunteers and as
the PC guidelines state:

“ 1. The SEEDIG 6 PC will be formed following a public call for volunteers.
For efficiency purposes, the group will be composed of up to 10 members. If
more volunteers express interest, the SEEDIG Executive Committee (EC) will
appoint PC members from among the volunteers, taking into account the need
to create a balanced committee, with overall expertise and experience
required to prepare a balanced and relevant programme, in accordance with
SEEDIG principles (e.g. Session principles, Programme planning process
etc.).”


Just like last year. But as stated in my previous email the current PC will
be tasked to find new ways to incorporate volunteers and the overall
community to the process. You can find the full guidelines for the PC
selection, formation, work on the website.

About the Ex Co; only I am interim as my term expired but elections were
objected to and new elections haven’t begun yet. There are formal processes
outlined in ToR for the full removal of Ex Co which have not been
petitioned for or triggered; so the current Ex Co will be carrying out
their duties as outlined in ToR until their term expires -unless the
community decides otherwise through official processes.
