[seedig] On inclusiveness at SEEDIG

Dear Seedig community,
First of all I hope we all have a wonderful and pleasent 2020 year!
I felt uncomfortable reading emails exchanged on our mailing list in the last few weeks, I suppose many of you had similar feeling. But as in every conflict, this is also a great opportunity to clarify things, learn something, possibly about ourselves as well and finally make our Seedig initiative better.
There are many various proposals on the list and it shows community appreciates the Seedig initiative, finds it important and wants it to be functional. So much transparency in the conflict resoultion situation is something you can not see very often. It takes a lot of courage to do things that way.
My proposal would be to go further in that same direction and I suggest we follow next steps:
- Dušan C. explains situations stated in the petition
- Facilitate open discussion for pointing out the concrete situations where Seedig exec lacked transparency (or any other IG value) with constructive proposals on how to overcome this in the future
These two steps are going to be very difficult and demanding for everyone. It is crutial to be honest, willing to take control of your ego and at the same time be open to hear different opinions and perspectives. Let's try to put our emotions aside and concetrate exclusively on the content of the discussion that can help us improve Seedig. I thing it would be a pitty for us as a community to miss the opportunity to learn out of the current situation.
