[seedig] On inclusiveness at SEEDIG

Dear SEEDIG friends,

First of all a promise - this is the last time I write on this topic.
I just want to make it absolutely clear that I am not taking any sides here and that I am just trying to get the lesson for all of us from this situation.

As an ordinary community member who is interested in the prosperity of the SEEDIG, I am going to put my understanding of the situation in very simple terms.

So, as I saw it, it all started with one of the respected members of the Exec Comm indicating that there were some problems. To me, at that point it was not clear what exactly the problem was. What followed was an outburst of heated exchange of opinions and accusations with some of them at a very low level, to put it mildly. Some respectable members of the community retreated at that point. Soon after, there was a sudden petition to remove the member from the Exec Comm who spoke about problems. To me, at that point in time, it looked like an attempt to silence that person who, soon after, as you know, resigned.

Here we are now.

If we continue without learning what the problem really was and what would, in the eyes of the person who pointed to the problems, be a possible solution to avoid similar situations in the future, we will be missing an opportunity and that is all I tried to bring up in my interventions. If someone got me wrong, sorry.
