Dear all,
Week is gone, and I am still waiting for answers on my petition.
Until I don’t hear the answers, I will not make any further comments.
Petition was completely according to the ToR and gave you all the proofs, for every single point in petition.
Also, as I stated in petition, I am not web-admin of SEEDIG.net. Although I created first version of web site, for quite some time I am not web-admin.
But, I am list admin and, therefore, I must highlight interesting fact:
We have increased the number of members this week to 226.
Cheers,
Dusan

Subject: Re: [seedig] Launching a new election process: Call for volunteers for the Election Committee
Dear community and dear Sorina,
Thank you very much for announcing about the next stage of SEEDIG. Thank you, dear Katarina, for volunteering.
As all of us will be facing a new and a very important phase, perhaps the most important - elections, members of the community are willing to get some understanding of the current situation at SEEDIG.
Until now, no-one from the current Executive Committee members announced, commented, or even tried to comment the letter of the former ExecComm member Dusan Caf. People are in confusion and the future of SEEDIG seems vague to many at this very moment.
Passing without any explanation to the next stage may not leave a very good impression on the supporting organisations, and maybe considered as negligence of duties of the current Executive Committee, its inaction at this very important moment, and what is most important, the lack of respect towards the Community's interests.
Some community members have noticed, for instance, that the SEEDIG web site was down for a weekend. Yet, no comment, or explanation followed: whether it was an attack, change of the hosting server, or maybe any other reason.
We should thank its administrator Mr. Dusan Stojicevic for securing its operations urgently since yesterday. But only technical operation of the SEEDIG platform is not enough for making informed choices while nominating candidates, or volunteering for the election committee.
Therefore, some reactions to the questions raised in the Letter are needed from those, who are responsible for the current process, as already requested by Valentina Pellizer, Yuri Kargapolov, Nenad Marincovic, Desara Dushi and others.
With best wishes to everyone on this Christmas season,
Narine Khachatryan

Dear SEEDIG community,
We are hereby launching a new partial election process for three (3) seats on the SEEDIG Executive Committee (EC). This is a consequence of (1) the previous partial election process for two seats not being concluded; and (2) the resignation of an EC member.
In line with the Terms of Reference for the SEEDIG EC <https://seedig.net/terms-of-reference-tor/> , the initiation of the election process consists in announcing the election calendar and launching a call for volunteers to serve on the Election Committee.
1. Election calendar
As per Art.6.2. of the ToR, please find here the calendar for the overall election process <https://seedig.net/partial-elections/#timeline> . Due to the winter holidays being celebrated on different dates throughout the region, the EC has decided to launch the process now, but allow a longer time for the submission of nominations.
2. Call for volunteers to serve of the Election Committee
As per Art.6 Section B of the ToR, the election process is to be managed by a three-member Election Committee. The main tasks of the Committee are outlined here <https://seedig.net/partial-elections/#committee> .
SEEDIG community members willing to volunteer for the Election Committee are invited to express their interest via this mailing list, by Friday, 27 December, 10.00 am CET. A simple expression of interest is enough, no elaborated motivation letters are required.
Kindly note that the seats on this Committee are to be filled in on a first come first served basis. Those who plan to run for elections are disqualified from volunteering or appointment on the Election Committee. The Committee may also include observers from among SEEDIG supporting organisations (as per Art. 6.8).
With this, the election process is officially open.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Sorina
(on behalf of the Executive Committee <https://seedig.net/executive-committee/> )
