Dear all, 

Due to many requests, we have extended the deadline for applications for
SEEDIG Youth School until 31 December 2018.  

So far we have around 150 applications (almost double compared to last
year), and we expect more by the end of the year. 

Please feel free to further distribute the call and announce the
extended deadline.

policy 

YOUR CHANCE TO BECOME A PART OF 

SEEDIG YOUTH SCHOOL IN BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

DEADLINE: 31 DECEMBER

 	* Are you a university student (undergraduate or master) originally
from, or residing in a country in South Eastern Europe and neighbouring
area (SEE+)? 
 	* Are you interested in issues such as privacy, freedom of expression
online, digital literacy, the Internet of things, artificial
intelligence and cybersecurity?
 	* Do you want to know who and how 'governs' the Internet? And how you
can participate and influence the digital future of your country and the
SEE+ region?

If you said 'yes' to these questions, _SEEDIG Youth School_ is for you! 

 WHAT DOES THE SEEDIG YOUTH SCHOOL OFFER? 

It will span over four months and will include several components:
ONLINE WEBINARS | JANUARY – APRIL 2019: You learn the basics of Internet
governance (IG): processes, organisations and topics.  

A FULL-DAY EVENT DEDICATED TO YOU | MAY 2019: The most active
participants in the online component will be invited to Bucharest to
meet and discuss IG offline. 

PARTICIPATION IN SEEDIG 2019 | MAY 2019: After your own debates, you
will join our annual meeting. You'll get to meet different stakeholders
working on IG, so you can network and ask questions!  

 		THE MOST ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN THE ONLINE PHASE OF THE YOUTH SCHOOL
WILL BE OFFERED SCHOLARSHIPS TO ATTEND THE ONSITE MEETING IN BUCHAREST.
WE WILL COVER TRAVEL TO/FROM ROMANIA AND/OR ACCOMMODATION IN THE CITY.
SELF-FUNDED CANDIDATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY AND ATTEND THE EVENT FOR
FREE.
