Subject: [seedig] SEEDIG 2018: Youth School and Fellowship Programme update

Dear all,

With one month to go until the SEEDIG 2018 meeting, we are pleased to announce that we have just published the list of selected participants for the SEEDIG Youth School and the SEEDIG Fellowship Programme.

In total, we received 80 applications for the Youth School and 70 applications for the Fellowship Programme. As many of these applications came from qualified candidates from across the region, the selection process has proven to be challenging and highly competitive.

The 2018 editions of our main capacity development programmes will include 15 Youth School participants and 15 fellows. The relevant lists are here:

The SEEDIG Youth School is a capacity development initiative targeted at students originally from, or residing in a country in South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area.

While thanking all applicants for their interest in these programmes, we kindly encourage everyone to continue following SEEDIG activities, look for other funding opportunities to attend the Ljubljana meeting, or join us online.

And we would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors and supporting organisations, whose ongoing support is making these two programmes possible.

Best regards,

Sorina
(on behalf of the SEEDIG Executive Committee)
