Dear all,

As announced earlier today, the January summary of Internet governance
developments in now also published on SEEDIG's website. You can find it
here: http://www.seedig.net/ig-summary/

I am also taking this opportunity to bring to your attention two additional
resources, prepared by DiploFoundation&Geneva Internet Platform, which you
might find useful:

   - *Top Digital Policy Developments in 2016: A Year in Review*
   <https://digitalwatch.giplatform.org/sites/default/files/GIP2016review.pdf>
sums
   up the digital policy developments for 2016. The report identifies 20 main
   developments, and includes - for each development - a summary of facts,
   analysis into the significance of each development, timelines, and
   resources.
   - *Digital Politics in 2017: Unsettled Weather, Stormy at Times, with
   Sunny Spells*
   <https://www.diplomacy.edu/blog/digital-politics-2017-unsettled-weather-stormy-times-sunny-spells>
starts
   with an analysis of the general backdrop for digital policy in 2017: the
   broad conceptual references for understanding the specific digital policy
   developments. A prediction of the ten main digital policy developments for
   2017 follows in the second part.

Enjoy the reading. And please join us in preparing the February summary, by
sending us updates about Internet governance developments and/or events in
your countries.

Regards,

Sorina
(with both SEEDIG and Diplo hats on)
