Dear all,
As previously announced, SEEDIG will hold two virtual planning meetings
<http://www.seedig.net/2017/01/11/two-virtual-planning-meetings-on-17-and-18-january/>
on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
In order to facilitate the discussions on the issues proposed
<http://www.seedig.net/call-for-issues/> for SEEDIG 2017 and on a possible
draft programme, we have prepared a very general overview of the proposals
- please see attached. In doing so, we have tried to cluster proposed
issues into more general topics (based on similarities and commonalities).
This, we hope, would give us an idea of how possible sessions could look
like. You will also notice that we have included in this overview several
rather specific proposals, related to projects, initiatives, and
organisations; these could qualify for short talks or other similar formats.
Kindly note that this overview should be looked at as an analysis, and not
as the result of an evaluation process. It is aimed to serve as an aiding
tool in our future work on building the programme for SEEDIG 2017. We hope
you will find it useful.
Comments on this overview are welcome both before and during the planning
meetings.
*Note to proponents: *Some of the proposals have been re-assigned to other
categories than the ones in which they were initially submitted. If you
think your proposal fits better under other category or cluster, please let
us know.
Thank you and we look forward to e-seeing you next week.
Best regards,
Sorina
(on behalf of SEEDIG executive committee)

Dear all,
On behalf of the executive committee of SEEDIG, I would like to thank all

2017 meeting <http://www.seedig.net/seedig-2017/> (to be held on 24-25 May,
in Ohrid).
We are pleased to inform you that we have received a *total of 74 proposals*;
you can find them all in the attached compilation, as well as on the SEEDIG

participation in such discussions, we have scheduled two virtual meetings:
- *Tuesday, 17 January, 14.00 CET*, and
- *Wednesday, 18 January, 17.00 CET*.
You are all kindly invited to attend either of the two meetings (or both,
if you wish so). Both meetings will have the same *draft agenda*:
1. SEEDIG 2017 - process overview
2. Topics proposed for SEEDIG 2017 - overview and discussion
3. Format for SEEDIG 2017
4. Overarching theme for SEEDIG 2017
5. Next steps in building the programme
6. Internet governance survey - discussion on the topic
