Hello everyone,

ApTI would like to submit a proposal for a 10-15 minutes talk on the
copyright reform. We consider this discussion to be an important topic for
SEEDIG.

Please find below a short description of what we have in mind:

Title: How to cripple the Internet in 5 simple copyright reform steps

Description: Geoblocking? Link tax? Content monitoring? Internet
intermediaries liability? The new copyright proposal for the EU has great
chances of hijacking the entire Internet ecosystem in Europe. Find out how
the European Commission's failed attempt to "reform" copyright is
disrupting the digital environment.

In September 2016, the European Commission published an alarming copyright
reform proposal. The new provisions would severely impact the digital
development, the user's rights, the education and research sectors. More
