On behalf of the *Warsaw Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy (WEASA), *I would
like to draw your attention to our ongoing call for applications for *
candidates from* the *Eastern Partnership countries* *and* to its recent
extension to *the Western Balkans region*. We hope that it would be of
interest to you and/or to your professional networks.

WEASA is a two-week summer school program for *citizens and residents of*
Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, as well as
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia,
Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo.

*WEASA 2017*, entitled *Digital Community: Security, Information and
Economy*, will cover topics such as the impact of digital tools on
democracy, disinformation and fake news, the digital economy, information
warfare, and cybersecurity. It is scheduled to take place between *July 2nd
and 15th, 2017*.

As such, the WEASA is jointly organized by the College of Europe Natolin
Campus, the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the
Polish-American Freedom Foundation (PAFF). Priority will be given to
mid-career professionals with ideally, but not necessarily, five years of
professional experience ideally in a field related to the topic of WEASA
2017. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the organizers.
