Dear Anja, Dusan, and all,

This year has indeed brought many new things to SEEDIG, from the Youth School, Internship, and Fellowship programmes, to the ToR for the executive committee and the new website. But none on these would have been possible without the support and contributions from you, community members, and from our supporting organisations. And we would like to thank you once again for all this.

We have had few activities at the IGF in Geneva, and it was great seeing some of you there. We will prepare a newsletter outlining these activities, and it will be shared here soon.

But, as Dusan has pointed out, the year is not yet over. And there is still something to be done by 31 December:
Submit a topic you would like to discuss at the SEEDIG 2018 meeting, in Ljubljana.

The good part is that you really only need few minutes to submit a proposal. As most of you know, we do not ask for sessions proposals, but simply topics for discussions. One or two sentences explaining your topic would therefore be enough.

So please use the few days left and help us shape the programme for Ljubljana!

With this, we would also like to wish you all happy holidays.

Best regards,

(on behalf of the executive committee)

P.S. And welcome to our community to Ekaterina, Nicoletta, and Una.

Dear SEEDIG Colleagues,

Following up to Dusan's email, just to thank you for an excellent work year! In my humble opinion, you have set up some standards in regards to the IGF-related processes. And also, many national IGFs from the region run IGF processes that resulted in great annual meetings.

It was good seeing the ExCom in Geneva, and many community members. Your participation in the NRIs main session, as well as the collaborative and coordination sessions was excellent, and much appreciated.

Thank you for closely working with the IGF Secretariat in this year.

Wishing you all very best in 2018, and looking forward to continuation of our collaboration.
Happy holidays!

Best regards,

Dear all,
The year is almost done and it’s a time to summarize it.
With around 150 members of the llist, new exe com, new website (thanks to the hackersJ), wild SEE summaries for the whole year (where is yearly summary, editors???), new procedures and global IGF forum ended, we are entering new 2018. Nice SEEDIG year, indeed.
But Ljubljana meeting is fast approaching (call for issues is open for just couple of days more, please add your suggestion).
If you don’t have any idea, I suggest to read this to catch inspiration. J
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
