The forum will focus on the crucial topics of the Eastern European domain name industry, and follows on the success of the first one held in Kiev last December, which attracted more than 200 participants from region. The EE DNS Forum is organized by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN<https://www.icann.org/>) and hoster.by<https://hoster.by/>, technical administrator of ccTLDs .BY and .БЕЛ. EE DNS Forum will come right after ENOG 14<https://www.enog.org/enog-14/> taking place October 9-10 2017. The network operator group will focus on issues such as IPv6, routing, peering and DNS.
The two-day event will tackle a variety of issues faced in the DNS market covering technology updates to legal aspects and business opportunities. The first day will be devoted to technical workshops, while the second day will include panel discussions on other DNS aspects. Some topics that will be covered are:
— DNSSEC and KSK-rollover (taking place on October 11, 2017)
— DNS infrastructure security;
— DNS industry legal aspects;
— DNS-abuse monitoring and analysis;
— New generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs);
— ICANN regional strategy.
Among the participants at the EE DNS Forum will be representatives from ICANN, international and regional organizations, registrars and registries from all over the world, as well as members of technical and business community.

Minsk is often referred to as the Eastern European Silicon Valley because of the high level of IT sector development in the country, as well as the Belarusian domain .BY, the unchanged leader in terms of growth rates in Europe for more than two years, welcomes you.
A good piece of news to our guests from outside the country, is that this year Belarus has established a 5-day visa-free entrance<http://mfa.gov.by/en/visa/visafreetravel/e0ced19bb1f9bf2c.html> for citizens of the European Union, the United States, Japan and a number of other states that come to the country via the Minsk-2 international airport (except guests, who come to Belarus from Russian Federation/Russian airports).
