[icann-see] IDN Survey. Your contribution needed

Dear all,

At our previous annual meetings, we have always spoken about IDNs 
(Internationalized Domain Names) and how they are characteristic to 
South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area. This year, at thethird 
annual meeting <http://www.seedig.net/seedig-2017/>(24–25 May, Ohrid), 
we will talk again about IDNs, duringa one hour session 
<http://www.seedig.net/seedig-2017-session-5/>.

To set the scene for this session, we are launching an IDN-focused 
survey. Its purpose is to try to capture the perception of the Internet 
community in this region (mainly Internet end-users) on aspects related 
to the implementation and use of IDNs. It covers aspects such as 
reasons for registering or not registering IDN domain names, 
registrants’ experiences with IDNs, benefits and challenges, etc. The 
survey data will be compiled and reflected in a report to be presented 
and discussed at the aforementioned session.
