Thank you, Dusan, and hello to everyone. 

My name is Susan Chalmers and I recently joined the Office of International Affairs at the NTIA, in the US. (http://www.ntia.doc.gov/) Prior to joining NTIA, I was running my own consulting practice in the IG space and, prior to that, I was the policy lead for Internet New Zealand.

I have engaged with the IGF community for a few years now, working as a MAG member to help introduce greater clarity and transparency to the IGF's workshop evaluation and selection process (amongst other endeavours - co-managing IGF Best Practice Forum on IPv6, for example). 

Prior to my joining the NTIA, I helped to coordinate the "Friends of the IGF" project: http://www.friendsoftheigf.org, which aims to increase accessibility of IGF discussions to the Internet community. (This project will be assumed by a new steward shortly - I'll be sure to send further information when I can).

Within NTIA I focus on issues relating to copyright, intermediaries, and all things IGF, hence my joining this mailing list. I will be engaging in our domestic IGF as well (IGF USA) and I believe that there are many things that we in the US can learn from different organizational approaches to IGFs, around the globe, including SEEDIG's. So, essentially, I am here to learn lessons from this fresh initiative that I can bring back home, and to stay in touch with the global IG community.
