Dear all,
As announced before, we have scheduled two virtual planning meetings for SEEDIG 2016: one on 14 January, from 17.00 CET, and the other on 15 January, from 12.00 noon CET. We would like to kindly reiterate our invitation to you all to join these meetings and to contribute to shaping the programme for SEEDIG 2016. Details can be found here: http://www.seedig.net/2016/01/08/two-virtual-planning-meetings-on-14-and-15-january/
The aim of these meetings is to discuss the submitted proposals and to initiate work on the draft programme for the April event. As you already know, more than 70 proposals have been received in response to the call for issues: http://www.seedig.net/category/proposals/ In order to facilitate our discussions during the virtual meetings, we have prepared a very general overview of the proposals - please see attached. In doing so, we have tried to cluster proposed issues into more general topics (based on similarities and commonalities); this, we hope, would give us an idea of how possible sessions could look like. You will also notice that we have included in this overview a couple of very specific proposals; they have a capacity building focus and we thought there would be value in listing them separately.
Please note that this overview should be looked at as an analysis, and not as the result of an evaluation process. It is aimed to serve as an aiding tool in our future work on building the programme for SEEDIG 2016. We hope you will find it useful and we are looking forward to discussing it with you later this week.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Sorina
(on behalf of SEEDIG’s executive committee)
