Dear all,
On behalf of the executive committee of the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG), I would like to thank all those who submitted proposals for issues to be discussed at the SEEDIG 2016 meeting (to be held on 22 April, in Belgrade, Serbia).
We are pleased to inform you that we have received over 70 proposals; you can find them all in the attached compilation.
The next step in the SEEDIG process is a virtual planning meeting dedicated to discussing the submitted proposals and initiating work on the draft programme for the April event. In order to encourage a large participation in such discussions, we have scheduled two virtual meetings:
- one on Thursday, 14 January, at 17.00 CET, and
- one on Friday, 15 January, at 12.00 noon CET.
You are all kindly invited to attend either of the two meetings (or both, if you wish so). The agenda will be the same for both days:
1. SEEDIG 2016 - process overview
2. Submitted proposals: overview and discussion
3. Overarching theme for SEEDIG 2016
4. Next steps in building the programme
5. AOB
The meetings will be held via the Webex remote participation platform; all necessary details are mentioned at the bottom of this email. Kindly note that you need to register your participation in advance of the meetings, by clicking on the relevant links below. For those of you who are new Webex users, I have copied below some useful information. If you face any problem in registering or joining the meeting, please let me know.
As some of you might not have followed the SEEDIG process closely before, please find attached a document outlining the milestones and programme guidelines for SEEDIG 2016.
