[IN SHORT]“If you are not able to attend the Tenth IGF meeting in João Pessoa, Brazil, you can follow it remotely! Remote participation, and specifically the hubs structure, has been successful in previous IGFs. This time again you can follow the discussions from home or office; watch the webcast of the event; follow real-time closed captioning ; and participate live. The links to access each meeting room will be provided one day before the IGF. All main sessions, workshops, dynamic coalitions, open forums and best practice forums will have webcast, captioning and remote participation. Once the schedule for the IGF 2015 meeting is published on the IGF website, remote participants/hubs should take a look at the IGF schedule on the home page to see the room and the time of the sessions they would like to follow.”

Thanks very much for the invite to participate in the Open Forum in Joao Pessoa.

Unfortunately, as it seems now, there will be no representatives from Croatia in the IGF#10.

Should there be a possibility to participate remotely, please let us (cro-igf at carnet.hr) know. Thanks!

Dear all, I just checked the IGF list of national IG Initiatives and found out that Croatia organised an IGF this year. I would like to invite organisers of the Croatian IGF to the EBU / EuroDIG Open Forum taking place in Joao Pessoa next week.

EBU/EuroDIG Open Forum in Joao Pessoa on 

Day 4 / 13 November 2015, 11:00-12:30 / Room 6

With around 20 national IGF’s  <http://www.eurodig.org/other-ig-initiatives/>   Europe has the biggest concentration worldwide. However the collaboration between national, (sub) regional’s and the global IGF could be improved. Taking into account the limited resources  we have to find easy ways for collaboration without creating more work. The intersesional work (initiated by the global IGF) or the joint approach of SEEDIG and EuroDIG (conducting a joint call for issues and aligning the processes) could be a starting point for such improvements. We would like to hear your thoughts and invite you herewith to the 

Could you please:

1.      confirm if you are or any other representative from your national IG initiative is able to participate in this Open Forum. 

2.      kindly send us the 3 main topics which have been (or will be) discussed during the national event in your country?

If you have any material from your event just bring it to the EuroDIG booth we will be happy to distribute it.
