[Icann-see] Greek IDN in DNS root

Dusan, regarding your question, Greek at the second level under '.gr' have been implemented since 2005. You can find the most recent version of the "Regulation on Management and Assignment of [.gr] domain names" at this link: https://grweb.ics.forth.gr/public/tomcat_docs/412-B-2015_EN.pdf . I think that there are about 6.5-7 thousand IDN domain names under '.gr', but Vaggelis can give you more precise information about that.
 
Regarding '.ελ', the Ministry has now fulfilled its duty (i.e. to obtain the IDN ccTLD on behalf of Greece) and now, according to the Greek legal framework for Telecommunications, the Regulator takes over. The next step is to have a Regulation for [.ελ] domain names and then to define a procedure for launching '.ελ' to the public (sunrise period etc etc). These will be done by the Regulator.  The Registry of '.ελ' domain names will be the same as for the '.gr' domain names, i.e. the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (ICS-FORTH). Vaggelis Segredakis is the Manager of the Registry.

First, my congratulations for Greek script ccTLD! This is indeed great news.

And I'm afraid I don't have update for now on Armenian IDN as we are in Sunrise period and still accepting applications from Trandemark and Tradename holders. Will update more later, when this period will have some results.
