[Icann-see] SEEDIG virtual preparatory meeting - Wednesday, 25 March, 11.00 am CET

Dear all,

Based on the doodle poll, our third virtual meeting dedicated to preparations for SEEDIG is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 March, at 11.00 am CET. Please register for this meeting using the details available at the bottom of this email.

Proposed agenda for the meeting:
1. Outreach and sponsorship
- review of progress made so far;
- current challenges;
- next steps and possible new approaches.
2. Draft programme outline v3.1
- review of contributions submitted in response to the 9 March call
- next steps in further refining the programme.
3. AOB

1. As underlined before, one key factor for the success of SEEDIG is the number of participants. We need to make sure we have people attending this event and this is a challenge, especially because of financial issues (i.e. lack of financial resources). So we need to look more carefully into what can be done in order to overcome these challenges and engage more actively in outreach activities.

2. As the deadline for input on the draft programme has passed, I would like to thank those who have responded to the call and provided comments and suggestions. Attached is a revised version of the SEEDIG draft programme, which includes:
- the comments submitted during the open call (they are copied as such from your emails; where names have been suggested, I have added them directly in the sessions' descriptions).
- several proposed revisions. Most of them are attempts to incorporate the comments received. Others are some further suggestions from my part - these are marked in yellow.
- few other aspects to consider when further refining the sessions.

If you cannot participate in the virtual meeting, but have further suggestions/ideas regarding the issues on the agenda, please send them via email and we will discuss them on Wednesday.
