I would like to join the others in congratulating you for putting together the first Croatian IGF. I wish you best of luck with this initiative. And I hope to see you in Sofia, in June, to share your experience with all of us in the region.

And I would like to encourage you to get in touch with the IGF Secretariat about publicizing your initiative on their website and joining the mailing list of national and regional IGF initiatives. I can help putting you in contact with them, if needed.

I am happy to announce that the very first Croatian forum on the topic of Internet Governance will take place next week, on Wednesday May 6th in Zagreb, at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. It is a joint effort by the representatives of national ministries, academia, industry, users of Internet and the national regulator for network industries, so real multistakeholder model by design.



The forum is open to all interested, so I would like to invite all of you who can join us in this event. Since this is the first time we are having a forum like this, the agenda is modest, just two topics, the domains management and the Internet Governance in general with an attempt to see how we could get more involved in regional, European and global discussions, being a relatively small country.



The event will start at 10:00 and last until about 14:00.
