[Icann-see] RIPE NCC SEE meeting, Belgrade, April 21. and 22.

Dear all,

On April 21. and 22. RIPE NCC SEE 
<https://www.ripe.net/participate/meetings/regional-meetings/see-4> 
meeting was held in Belgrade, in hotel "Metropol".
Technical society, from nearly 20 countries inside and outside of SEE 
region, was discussing topics like SIRT, security, IPv6, measurements... 
but three panels was touching IG topic.
First of all, it was the session "Panel on Internet Governance" on the 
first day. During this session, the panelist was trying to define what 
is IG and to highlight major topics in IG, and thanks to Desiree 
Milosevic, Vlada Radunovic and Paul Rendek - it was very interesting.
During Opening session, very good presentation "RIPE vs RIPE NCC: From 
the Beginning to After the NTIA Transition" by Hans Petter Holen, RIPE 
Chair, gives us a light of what is RIPE, RIPE NCC and IANA Transition.
During second day, the session "Policy and Governance Plenary" was 
reserved for SIRT and Governmental topics, and we were once again 
talking about some aspects of IG.

At my keynote, as a representative of co-host and member of program 
committee, I was talking about EuroDIG, SEEDIG and crucial thing - the 
need for collaboration and communication in SEE region to achieve better IG.
Also, Desiree (personal thanks) invited all of the participants to come 
to Sofia and to take a role in EuroDIG.

The number of participants was a record for RIPE SEE meetings - 235

and my personal opinion is that the meeting was very good and successful.
