[Icann-see] SEEDIG updates- draft programme, wiki, registration

Dear all,

I am writing to give you some updates regarding the SEEDIG preparatory process.

1. Draft programme outline
As agreed during our previous virtual meeting, the executive committee has further refined the draft programme outline. The revised version (v4) is attached to this email.
As a general observation, we have tried to reduce the number of key participants, in order to allow for more time for interactions among all participants in the sessions. You will notice that key participants and moderators are still marked as "options" or "alternatives". We will start contacting them early next week, unless strong and motivated objections are raised by then.

Call for action:
There are still open slots for remote moderators and session rapporteurs. You are therefore kindly invited to consider volunteering for these roles. Your help is this regard will be much appreaciated, so we are looking forward to hearing from you.

2. SEEDIG FAQ
A set of FAQ has been prepared in order to offer more details about SEEDIG (purpose, organising process, practical details, etc.). The plan is to use this doc when approaching potential participants, so please feel free to distribute it among your communities.
If you think edits are necessary for these FAQs, please let us know.

3. EuroDIG wiki
As you probably know, the EuroDIG wiki is now available: http://eurodigwiki.org/wiki/Main_Page Thanks to the EuroDIG Secretariat, space in this wiki is also allocated to SEEDIG. This is a work in progress, but all SEEDIG relevant information (objectives, programme outline, session decriptions, etc) will be made avalable via the wiki.

4. Input from SEEDIG into EuroDIG
The SEEDIG executive committee has been invited to act as focal point for EuroDIG's workshop 1 - "Participation in a digital society" (provisional title). This was done in order to ensure that there is some input from SEEDIG going into the EuroDIG. As such, the aim is for WS 1 to be organised in such a way that it is both a follow-up from SEEDIG, as well as an integration of various EuroDIG proposals identified as relevant for the session. All steps in the preparation of this workshop will be documented on the wiki: http://eurodigwiki.org/wiki/Participation_in_a_digital_society and you are welcome to contribute.

5. EuroDIG/SEEDIG registration
Registration for both EuroDIG and SEEDIG is now open: http://www.eurodig.org/registration-form/
